Our History
What started in 1970 as a muffler shop on 84th & L in Omaha, has now grown into four locations across the metro. While we still replace mufflers, Omaha Car Care now has highly-skilled ASE certified technicians that can service any vehicle.

Rick Bettger
Rick is a life-long Omahan who bought his father’s three muffler shops in 2001. He and his wife Jen have been married for 33 years and have three daughters (and a grandchild on the way!). Rick is deeply involved in education for Omaha's underserved communities and has served for 10 years on the CUES Fund Board of Directors.

Tim Garnett
Tim first began working for Omaha Car Care at the age of 22. Now, 23 years later, he’s earned his way into ownership. He and Trish, his wife of 23 years, have raised three children in their west Omaha home and also have one grandchild. Tim’s free time is spent in a boat, trying to finally land “the big one.”
